    More Alert!

Well, I'm feeling a little better now that I've been quite a few days without caffeine. I getting used to it's absence. Christopher told me my last post had some odd grammatical "constructions." I decided to leave them in, despite the fact that I could easily edit the post, just to maintain the authenticity, however inarticulate. Although, I'm beginning to think that all of my non-technical writing is full of these "odd constructions." I think it may be due to an undercurrent of rebellion from the dry, methodical writing with which I spend most of my time. I - JUST - CAN'T - HELP -MYSELF! So, I'll apologize now for all of my upcoming, horribly difficult to read posts. I hope you can love me despite the fact that I cannot write.

So, as promised, here are some pictures from Christmas:

    n e w - "all things have become..."

Happy New Year! Wow, and how sad that it's the middle of January (and my brother's birthday...almost forgot it) that I am first posting that.

So, here's my first bit of honesty blasted into the electronic ether for the year: I'm trying to give up coffee and, well, the occasional glass of wine in hopes of being a [responsible] individual ready for bearing children once more. (To clarify, responsible in the use of my body. )

It is hard. And, how sad that I have such a small amount of self-control that such a task as this is difficult. (I'm typing this as a dose of ibuprofen whittles away at a caffeine withdraw headache.) I have been clinging to the thought that it isn't my self-control that gets this done.

We're in the midst of painting our newly installed front door and assessing the water damage (finally, we couldn't procrastinate on that any longer) in our bathroom.

Pictures from Christmas will be up soon. PEACE, OUT, YO!
