I remember sitting down two weeks ago with the intention of blogging about the past two weeks, but alas, blogger was down; the stars were not in alignment. A lot has to happen for one of us to blog around here. Dishes have to be clean (or not) and deadlines have to be met (or not).
For spring break, in early April, we headed to my parents house down south. We visited the beach, ate ice cream at Dels Freeze, and visited some dear friends even further south.
Where else did April go? That was just the first week...
Christopher had a birthday. My belly got bigger. People are usually shocked when they ask me how much longer I have. Ahh....too much. Too much.
Ranen has learned how to swing on Adah's make-shift swing in the back yard, as well as throw a Frisbee like a pro. His verbal skills are blossoming and its been fun to have conversations with a little 2 year old boy. Usually, however, his questions degrade to the most common, "Mom, where's daddy?" Oh, if I only had a dime for every time he asks that question.
Adah is continuing to learn to read; gone are the times when Christopher and I could have a conversation in code by spelling important words. She's found us out. She's also been up to making involved tents in the back yard. One of the most used phrases out of her mouth is, "Mom, pretend that..."
We blinked and April was gone.

The masses speak!
Thanks for those pics. The kiddos looked somehow older when I didn't see them all week.
Sandra calls it a make-shift swing, I call it quintessential. It's a rope and stick; what more can we want?
I'm still bummed I didn't get to see you while you were here. :-( Are you getting a minivan?
I love seeing what your little inventors come up with...no doubt one of their future inventions will change the world :)
